I received my PhD. in Theatre in August 2018 from Louisiana State University. I hold an M.A. in Performance Studies and a B.A. in English and Theatre from Texas A&M University.  I have worked as a dramaturg, production manager, director, lecturer, program manager, and patient actor.  My research focuses on female performers from the American Revolution through the present day. When my nose is not stuck in a book, I work in ceramics and watch television.  I currently call Bryan, Texas my home.
